Rita Želnienė

Rita and her husband Alvydas farm in the village of Akalyčia, in the Alovė municipality. However, in addition to her main work on the farm, Rita also finds time for her favourite decorative art activities. She makes flower bouquets, Christmas decorations, decorates and decorates festive tables on festive occasions, etc.

She has learned the craft of professional weaving, graduated from the Alytus School of Crafts, and obtained a diploma of a weaver of fine art.

Rita is not lacking in activities, and has also restored an ancient bric-a-brac. As she puts it: "I see beauty everywhere - in a dewdrop, in a pebble in the field, in the branches of a tree - and that's what drives me forward".
