Women's vocal group
Ambicija
The vocal group was founded in 1999 on the initiative of the artistic director and lyricist Irena Rinkevičienė and was named "Svaja". In 2010 - 2015 the group was led by Romas Aleksandravičius, in 2017 - 2020 the group was led by Juozas Kavaliauskas.
In the summer of 2019, the renewed group changed its name to Ambicija. The group of 6 ambitious and vocal women continues its active vocal and concert activities.
The group's repertoire includes popular stage songs and original songs by Juozas Kavaliauskas.
The professional and sincere songs performed by the group can be heard at events in the Alytus district, in their hometown Krokialaukis, but also in neighbouring districts.

A history of activities:
- 2000 - 2010 Kaziukas Fair in Simnas;
- 2000, 2002, 2004, 2011 - State (Coronation of King Mindaugas of Lithuania) Day celebrations in Daugai;
- 2001, 2010 - Birštonas city festival, Alytus city disabled society "Viltis" Christmas event;
- 2001 - 2007 - in the programme of the festive concert "Dainuoju Motinai" in Miroslavas;
- 2003 - in the joint choir of Alytus district, in the 500th anniversary celebration of Punios town.
- 2019 - in the concert of vocal ensembles "Pavasariniai žiedai" (Simnas), in the battle of minds "Labyrinths of Music Sounds", in the Joninės celebration "Nuo saulėlydžio iki aušros" (Santaika), in the family celebration "Čia mūsų pradžia..." (Ūdrija), vocal ensembles' evening "Po sidabro mėnuliu" (Krosna, Lazdijai district).
- 2020 - Joninės Festival (Ūdrija), Miroslavas eldership municipality festival "Širdim tave apkabinsiu" (Miroslavas), Vocal Ensemble Festival "Skamba, skamba dainos" (Teizai, Lazdijai district), Vocal Ensemble Evening "Bobų vasara" (Krikštonys, Lazdijai district).
- 2021 - musical Sunday and Thursday evenings (Kurnėnai), Žagariai community family festival "Mes viena šeima, viena širdis", Parėčėnai village community "Mažoji sodybėlė", autumn festival "Metų mozaika" (Alytus district), Joninių šventė (Seirijai, Lazdijai district).
