It happens in life that some people are rewarded with the gift of a voice, others with a lovely dance, and still others fill their time with a kind word, a sharing of life experience or just a sincere desire to chat with a neighbourly friend.

Thus, driven by this earthly goal, the seniors living in Krokialaukis and the surrounding villages and like-minded people came together in the winter of 2019 to form a club called "Linksmoji seklyčia".
The elderly are quite active, although some of them come to the meetings with a brace and a cane or in a wheelchair, but their high ambition and stubbornness bring them to the meetings every month at the agreed time.
It has become a tradition to congratulate members on their birthdays. The meetings and get-togethers include singing, cooking and handicraft educational programmes, remembering calendar holidays and celebrating Defenders of Freedom Day, February 16th, March 11th, Hope and Mourning Day, July 6th, Užgavėnės, St. Easter, St. John's Day, St. Peter's Day, St. Paul's Day, St. John's Day, Christmas.
Seniors put their experience in one pile - they learn a lot themselves and advise others. It is not for nothing that it is said that "one learns throughout life".
