In 2018, Gintautas Šmitas, the head of cultural activities, gathered the vocal men from the communities of Žagariiai and Punios into the vocal ensemble "Unisonas".

The ensemble performs its programme at events organised in the Punia eldership: fresh bread (Oninės), family festivals, seniors' afternoon "Kviečiu puodeliui arbatos", literary events and other gatherings.
The group is still very new, but the singers try to live up to the name of the group with their expressive and rich voices and harmonious consonances.
The ensemble has quickly become a favourite with audiences, perhaps because the men openly and sincerely express great enthusiasm and love for song, and their tasteful stage presence can add a touch of glamour to any big celebration.
The group boldly seeks innovation, experiments, tries to combine song with movement and tries to make a small spectacle of its programme for the audience on stage.
