MIdsummer in Pivašiūnai

23 June at 9 pm. On June 21, June 21, at Pivašiūnai, by Lake Ilgis, all visitors will be welcomed by the unifying traditions of Midsummer, rituals, wreath weaving, folk songs, dances and concerts. St John and St Janine guests will be honoured and congratulated. Unique places of celebration will unite not only the main elements of this extraordinary and shortest night: fire, water, herbs, but also all the inhabitants of the Alytus district and the arriving guests.
